Join us for a truly Latvian experience – walking through mysterious bog landscapes in bog shoes, together with locals who know and love these wild places.
These group adventures take place in different regions of Latvia, each offering its own unique scenery and atmosphere. From easily accessible boardwalk areas to more remote, untouched bogs – there’s something for every level of explorer.
We offer hikes at various times of day, including peaceful morning walks at sunrise, scenic daytime treks, and magical sunset adventures when the bog glows with golden light.
Whether you’re curious about nature, looking for a unique outdoor activity, or simply want to connect with locals in a meaningful way – this is your chance to step off the beaten path and into the bog.

About events
✅ What’s Included:
- Guided hike with a certified nature guide
- Use of specialized bog shoes, rubber boots ant trekking poles
- Insight into local flora, fauna, and bog ecology
- A chance to walk on floating moss and peat islands!
🎒 What to bring:
- Waterproof boots or sturdy hiking shoes (there is also an option to use our rubber boots)
- Weather-appropriate clothing
- Water and snacks
- Swimsuit and towel, as you will be able to swim in the bog lakes.
- Curious spirit and sense of adventure!
📌 Please note:
- The event is weather-dependent. In case of extreme weather, participants will be informed in advance.
- The hike will take place if at least 8 participants register.
- The event will be in Latvian, but we’ll do our best to translate into English too.
🚗 How to get to the meeting point?
We will send the exact meeting place. You can get there by private cars. We can also arrange a transfer.
