May 16 You will have the opportunity to join the group and enjoy the mysterious landscape of the Northern bogs with the largest bog lakes in Latvia and quite a lot of exciting places. Let’s go on a hike to Kodaja bog, which is really impressive. During the hike we will see the Kodaja lake and smuggling trails, many lakes that have created a beautiful labyrinth near the Estonian border.
This is the longest route, so we will count on at least a 6-hour hike. Definitely need waterproof shoes (rubber boots) so that you do not get wet even before the swamp, where paths may have rotted and rivers have left the shores. The guide will help you discover the secrets of the swamp and the bogshoes will allow you to get to where it would otherwise be impossible. This will also be a great opportunity to collect cranberries, which are now especially delicious.
The event is held in Latvian with the possibility of translation into Russian and English.
The number of participants is limited!
Trekking boots with waterproof membrane or rubber boots are required.
