Overview
Dzelve-Krona bog is located near Saulkrasti. During the hike you will be able to see the world of moss, small pine trees, deep pools, tiny dark lakes and smell wild rosemary. If you are lucky, you will hear cranes further away and, if you look closely, you will see the the carnivorous plant of sundew. Great place to try a swim in one of the pools. The area of the nature reserve is 2133 ha.
The trail is not marked in nature and is not intended for walking without a “Bog-shoeing” guide.
Trekking boots with waterproof membrane or rubber boots are required.

Moderate hiking is usually suitable for beginners who want a little challenge. There will be some obstacles in the area, such as fallen trees or wrecks. The route is usually 4-7 km long. Suitable for older people with active lifestyle and children aged 8-10 years.

You should wear comfortable clothes and footwear. Take swimwear and camera with you. And don`t forget high spirits!
